Classrooms and Meeting Rooms


The department has modern facilities for both large and small groups. We use the Lecture Hall for departmental seminars and for student lectures in our Master in Medical Physiology program. Four other smaller rooms serve as venues for small-group teaching and laboratory group meetings.

Conference Room (School of Medicine Robbins Building: E504) -- Curie Room This room seats as many as 25, including up to 15 around free-standing tables. The room features a state of the art video conferencing system that allows users to share presentations and teleconference simultaneously, along with tabletop connections for A/C power as well as Wi-Fi. We use this room for small-group teaching, laboratory group meetings, and some faculty meetings.

Conference Room (School of Medicine Robbins Building: E545) As many as eight can fit comfortably around a table in this conference room. It features Wi-Fi service. We use this room for small-group teaching and laboratory group meetings.

Conference Room (School of Medicine Robbins Building: E546) As many as 12 can fit comfortably around a table in this conference room. The room features a state of the art video conferencing system that allows users to share presentations and teleconference simultaneously, along with tabletop connections for A/C power as well as Wi-Fi. We use this room for small-group teaching and laboratory group meetings.

Lecture Hall (School of Medicine Robbins Building: E501) The Lecture Hall seats up to 193 and features state-of-the art audio-visual equipment, including a digital projector, document camera, Panopto lecture capture software, streaming recordings of all lectures and TurningPoint Audience response system for polling, testing and collaboration. We use this space for departmental seminars, special lectures, and lectures to students in our Master in Medical Physiology program.
